None of us expected our pizza fundraiser in partnership with Pie in the Sky to be such an overwhelming success.
After a couple of minor learning opportunities during the first week, the second week went off without a hitch. During those 2 weeks, over 120 pizzas were delivered by a dozen very generous volunteers who donated their time and vehicles to the cause. Pie in the Sky was happy to accommodate all our needs, and many dozens of families in Georgia got to enjoy fresh pizza delivery, some of them for the very first time ever! We can't thank everyone enough for their help making this the success it was; Pie in the Sky for agreeing to work with us, everyone who trusted us to deliver their family meals, and all the volunteers who made it possible. This was a huge group effort.
We're currently exploring the possibility of making this a monthly event for the first 3 months of the coming year, stay tuned for future announcements!
